It has become known that the story of Lasseters Online, one of the first online casinos to take bets on the web, has come to an end.
The Unlawful Online Gambling Enforcement Act turned out to be the beginning of the end for Lasseters.lack of proper oversight, management and overal vision for the online business caused hardship for the company. Besides, last year it took a $15.5 million loss in revenue. Since then, the financial losses of Lasseters have been multiplying.
An auditor review has shown that the things cannot be turned around. As a result, Lasseters is no longer competitive on the Web and is closing its doors.
