Membership Drive During the 2007 WSOP

The World Poker Association has recently announced its plans regarding membership drive during the 2007 World Series of Poker. Each member of the WPA should agree to uphold and support the highest standard of ethical conduct in tournament poker activities. It is considered to be a condition of membership.

Joe Hachem , the popular Australian poker pro, who won the 2005 WSOP, has agreed to serve on the World Poker Association’s board of directors and as an officer. Being offered such an honorable position, Hachem feels ready for promotion of ethics and integrity in poker, and he is happy.

So, players can talk to poker professionals, visit them at the WPA booth and get some poker tips. To become a WPA member, go to wpapoker.org or at the WPA booth at the World Series of Poker.
