$ 11,211 - this is the sum GoldenPalace has paid to acquire the instrument specially made for Buffett by Dairy Queen. Buffet played the instrument and signed it. So, to cut a long story short he is believed to be the most successful value investor of all time.
The money from the auction is going to the Omaha Children’s Hospital (it is a part of the Children’s Miracle Network). The work of the organization is aimed at saving and improving the lives of children via raising finds for children’s hospitals throughout North America.
GoldenPalace CEO Richard Rowe claims: “This was a great opportunity to help out a … charity and get some marketing exposure at the same time. Mr. Buffett is an American icon, and we are honored to own this item as well as contribute to the Children’s Miracle Network”.
