The First Annual Manchester Wolves/WGIR Hampshire Charity Poker Tournament

The Manchester Wolves and WGIR Hampshire have become partners and are going to hold their first annual Charity Poker Classic. Something new is going to appear at the gambling market. It’s funny and amusing. And what a pleasure it is to work with famous people and to help people in need.

The tournament will take place on the 8th of April, doors open at 10:30 a.m., the beginning of the tournament – at 3p.m. at the Amoskeag Bingo Center that is located in 195 McGregor St., Manchester. All the forthcoming events will contribute to the Eddie “B” Foundation supporting higher education, civic groups, youth organizations in the greater Manchester area. Some money will go to the Manchester Boys and Girls Club. The tournament is expected to be visited by celebrities.

Everyone will have an access to more than $80,000 in cash as the best 10 finalists will earn cash prizes. To enter the “Main event”, the No-Limit Texas Hold’ Em Poker Tournament, you’ll be asked to pay $500 (with no re-buys or adds-ons). If you a fan of the Wolves, you are likely to get a fee discount worth $100. More than that, they will raffle off many prizes, such as: door prizes, merchandise, Rock 101 concert tickets.

Another chance to get your set for the Main Event is to enter the Super Satellite Tournament which is going to take place at 11 a.m. The entry fee there runs as high as 25$ and the number of $ 25 re-buys in the first three levels.

The registration started on the 3rd of April and the number of participants is limited. To become the participant of the competition you may get in touch with the Manchester Wolves office at 603.627.WOLF (9653) or visit the Wolves /WGIR table on April 7, during the match of the home opener against the Green Bay Blizzard at the Verizon wireless Arena. All the money received should be paid up to the “B” Foundation. To play, you should come of age or be at least 18 years old.
