The gambling industry in the Philippines seems to be having no support, as lots of politicians and citizens are calling for the total ban of gambling within the CEZ (Cagayan Export Zone).

Political opposition is now the major concern for the internet gambling industry. Narciso Santiago, a representative for the Alliance for Rural Concerns Party, is one of those looking for the ways to pass legislation that would forbid gambling companies to use internet for any type of gambling.

The only question is how effective the legislation will be, as gamblers always find out ways to gamble.
