Insufficient Funds for Horse Racing Support

Development of online casino and sports betting industry has eventually led to the situation when horse racing industry has hard times to function with outside funding and assistance. The Australian horse racing industry, in particular, doesn’t have enough funds to support the industry and is wondering which sector of the industry is going to step forward with ideas for further funding.
The situation is very stressful, and to address the problem of horse race funding, two conferences have been scheduled. The Australian Racing Conference is one of them, but it seems to be not a solution to the problem, as the online casino industry is under heavy attack in Australia. On the other hand, there is a chance that the Conference will step forward some of the land ambling industries and lend funds to support horse racing.

Is this because punters use bookies outside of the track then?
