Proper Regulations May Help Patch the Budget

November 7th, 2009
Author: Blackwell Arthur

No doubt, there are lots of debates in the USA about the online casino gambling industry, but the changes are already seen – online casinos are taking small steps forward in some states.

Thus, the state of Illinois votes on new gambling laws expanding the scope of land and internet horserace betting in the state. Other states are considering legalizing forms of online casino betting and poker within the state borders to cover the budget deficit.

Taking into consideration how popular internet gambling is, the idea of getting revenues from the online gambling industry may become very popular with the state governments.

Yes gambling has always been one of the most profitable businesses during economically tough times. It’s about time the government realizes it’s banning their own profit when banning online gambling. Good news for all of us! Except for gamblers :)
