CryptoLogic Tops in the Industry

Despite of all the rumors circulating round CryptoLogic, company’s gaming platform is still considered to be one of the best in the industry.
The acquisition of a powerful new licensee, Totesport, is latest company’s announcement. Totesport is a huge UK brand, and thanks to the new licensing deal Totesport will be able to offer six of CryptoLogic’s most popular games and boost the existing Totesport wagering platform.
It is known that Totesport has also been having hard times. So, becoming CryptoLogic’s licensee has tuned into an effort to strengthen and reestablish the Tote brand in the UK.

I find Crypto/Wagerlogic very puzzling. They have licensed some unbelievable titles in recent times – many Marvel comic characters, Call Of Duty, Bejeweled etc – but power just a handful of online casino clients.
What would Microgaming give to have some of Wagerlogic’s licensed online slots titles?
In the good old days, there were a handful of software providers, each with a handful of casinos in their stables. Since then, Playtech and Microgaming seem to have expanded their stables at a far greater rate than Cryptologic. Did they concentrate on growth by licencees and ignore licensed titles as a unique selling point or did Cryptologic make a mistake in seemingly concentrating on licensing titles and not expanding their licencee stable? There’s a question in there somewhere!
