Shannon Shorr, a college student from Alabama, started playing poker as a hobby online. Finally the hobby became a successful career for him what is proved by the fact that he reached a final table in a World Series of Poker in No Limit Circuit Events at Harrah’s Casino, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He is said to be the youngest player who has done it twice in the consecutive events having placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the tournaments.
His live poker career began in Melbourne, Australia. He took the fourth place in the Aussie Millions Championship having beaten a few pros and having cashed in approximately $ 250,000. Having already been to Austria, Spain and the Bahamas, Shannon, now being 21 years old, is able to play poker legally in the USA. Having taken part in one poker event, Shannon is soon moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. He has already won a seat in the famous World Series of Poker Main Event.
