To earn a seat at the finals, the top 8 players competed against one another in two qualifying rounds. All forty players who got into Round Two were in the money and shared a portion of the prize pool. Second place finishers in Round Two did not enter the finals but received another opportunity to win with a paid entry to the second annual B.C. Poker Championship’s (BCPC) Limit Texas Hold ‘Em event in November. The top eight players in Round Two having got into the finals to win money, won their entry to the $2.5 million No Limit event at the BCPC where one player could walk away with approximately $750,000!
